Approximately an 18 km long hike from one castle to another, telling the history of the area, through nature and its idyllic villages, nestled in a special landscape.

No historically and architecturally outstanding buildings - but they can tell the history of the area. Today these are the municipal offices, like in Nieder Rengersdorf, a district of Kodersdorf, or in Ebersbach and also in Kunnersdorf. There the old castle is privately owned, nicely renovated; the new castle is owned by a company, also well maintained.

The churches are somewhat similar: the Nieder Rengersdorf church was built at the same time as the one in Reichenbach, but it has lost all its decorations.

The path often runs through villages and settlements and ends in the city of Görlitz, where you can enjoy nature less, but there are two very beautiful sections: the Schöpstal between Ober Rengersdorf and Kunnersdorf and the path between Kunnersdorf and Ebersbach with the historic and scenic Kapellenberg, where two battles were not fought. The trenches can still be seen.
