Events around the Via Sacra
Understanding history(ies)
Throughout the year, there are small and large local events along the Via Sacra. Regional exhibitions, concerts and guided tours through sacred walls tell the history of the region and create a tangible awareness of the region's own past. Guests are invited to take a closer look at the eventful history of the border triangle.
Exciting events will once again take place around the Via Sacra Day on March 29, 2026:
- Special guided tour of the Görlitz synagogue 2 p.m.
- Church service in Herrnhut 9:30 am, Hosanna hour 7 pm
- Public guided tour for children and families "The monastery church - a church in a museum" at the Cultural History Museum Zittau 3pm
- Open church Cunewalde 12 - 4 p.m.
