Via Sacra - from Cunewalde to Löbau
In the village of Cunewalde there are small houses where dwarfs surely live: the Umgebindehaus park - lovingly reproduced Upper Lusatian Umgebinde houses at a scale of 1:5. Of course, there are also many "real" such special houses. Almost next to it - the village church Cunewalde, the largest village church in Germany. And another superlative: Cunewalde is, with 11 km, the longest street village in Germany. The place is nestled between the mountains Czorneboh (Black God) and Bieleboh (White God), which were important in pagan times. The first natural destination of this stage is the Bieleboh. First slowly and then steeply ascending, you reach the mountain ridge and the summit. The tower offers a magnificent panoramic view. The path leads eastwards along the ridge, in serpentine lines, towards Löbau. Near the path lies another interesting basalt exposure, the Bubenik. Striking rock formations (little lion's heads) and thermophilic flora. The Löbau church tower is now within reach…
