A hike between history, nature and culture. A section of the Via Sacra with a lot of variety along the way. A flat, approx. 17 km long stage with beautiful avenue-like field paths!

The start is in the Lessing town of Kamenz, the beginning is a worthwhile city tour, both in terms of sacred sites and history. The St. Anne's Monastery Church with sacral museum and St. Mary's Church, the passage through the monastery gate to the Fleischbänke and the marketplace with town hall and the beautiful Andreas fountain. The Herrental with its memorials tell stories of the past. The hike initially leads through the suburbs of Kamenz, then through shady forests and across fields. In Sorbian-influenced places you will find the very typical three-sided farmsteads and many crosses. The path runs over beautiful old field paths, which sometimes even appear like avenues. On the Via Regia towards Panschwitz-Kuckau you will discover a remarkable resurrection column at the village exit of Dürrwicknitz. The highlight of this section is the St. Marienstern Monastery in Panschwitz-Kuckau. The destination is the Crostwitz Church.
